TV viewing is not bad. But too much can lead to weary, tired eyes. Don’t blame the TV! Curse it on the poor lighting. When it’s dark, your eyes adjust to the light exerting too much effort so you can see through the images. Yet when it’s bright, your eyes still manage to make the necessary contrasting effect just so you can watch clearly. An ample lighting system won’t only save your eyes from wear and tear, it will give you the benefit of effective personal viewing as well. TV has millions of information to share and you can expect that not all things are filtered to be good, so if you have kids at home, its part of your authority to limit their use or substantiate the ideas they gather. TV viewing can either be powerful or harmful and it’s up to you what effect you’ll take.
