HDTV in more and more homes

In a few years, North American TV networks are expected to comply with the federal law that says that they should distribute high definition signals. This news has sent a frenzy of people to buy high definition televisions sets. This is considered a good investment since in time, analog TV sets will be obsolete. It is predicted that more and more homes will have an HDTV set in their house, especially on the advent of HDTV compatible signals that will be distributed by TV networks. High definition TV sets offer clear TV resolution and superb sound quality. There are various TV sets in the market nowadays that can readily receive high definition signals. HDTV receives digital signals from networks and converts it to sharp images on its LCD screen. Some TV sets may still require you to use an HDTV antenna or receiver to maximize the high resolution capability of your TV. Think DVD-quality movies and you can get an idea about how HDTV works. The difference is that the clarity that DVDs give is now much more accessible. With just the click of a remote you will feel like you're watching a DVD show.Clearer and sharper pictures mean more visual stimulation for you. It will also give you a more realistic feel when watching TV.
