Super Stand Mixers

Stand mixers perform the same jobs. They are used for beating eggs, whipping butter, and even kneading dough. They are usually the secret to delicious baked goods. There are stand mixers that stand out and others that are just so-so. And the better quality stand mixers usually produce more delicious results and last longer. Chefs use these things a lot whether they're baking cookies or a caramel apple cake, so they must know a lot. So I asked my chef friend's opinion before I got one for my mom. Fortunately, there are lots of mixers in the market that satisfy basic requirements from the industrial sized to the smaller countertop versions that can suit every pocket. As I learned, top stand mixers usually have more than five settings for speed excluding "stop". They should also include a whisk, paddle, dough hook, and wire whip attachments. There are also some brands that offer paddle and extra attachments for free. Mixing bowls should also have a four and a half quart capacity or better (more super cakes!). My friend also advised to choose a heavy mixer. The weight would add stability to the machine while it is in motion. A twenty pounder usually does the trick. It would also be a good idea to get a mixer that comes with an extra mixing bowl because pastry recipes sometimes require beating or whipping two ingredients or more separately. Even if you get one that is pricey, you can expect to be rewarded with super treats everytime you visit your mom.
